Mr. Lawrence Joseph Lloyd, 61, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Lloyd was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Joseph Lloyd Sr.; and sister, Edith Lloyd.

He is survived by his  mother, Wilma Powell Loyd; two sisters, Barbara Thrower of Charlotte and Tammy Moody of Statesville; and three brothers, Robert Lloyd; Cecil Lloyd and Cecil Lloyd Jr. all of Charlotte.

Crowe’s Mortuary of Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
