Mr. Lonnie “Jerry” Washburn, 74 of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, December 10, 2010. Services were held at New Salem CME.
Mr. Washburn was preceded in death by his parents Esro and Annie Mae Washburn; 2 brothers, Charles and Mackalee Washburn.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Washburn; 2 sons, Emmett Murray and Jerry Lee Washburn; 2 daughters, Emma Corpening and Barbara Washburn; 1 sister, Catherine Twitty of Ohio; 1 brother, Jasper Washburn of Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Crowe’s Mortuary & Crematory, Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
