Mr. Marvin Eugene Powell age 72, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018.

He is predeceased by his parents the late George William and Ruth Isabel White and his wife of 52 years, Betty Sue Powell.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Dwayne (Shannon) Powell of Shelby; three grandchildren. Four brothers, Jimmy Powell of Grover, Don (Cindy) Powell, Kings Mountain, Charlie Powell of Ellenboro and Bill (Carol) Powell of Mooresboro. Two sisters Betty Canipe and Carolyn Barrett of Shelby.

Services were held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Dr. Tim Sims officiated. Burial was held at Cleveland Memorial Park.

Services are entrusted to Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC of Boiling Springs, NC.
