Mr. Paul Douglas Flynn, 78, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012.
Graveside services were conducted at Grandview Memorial Park.
A native of Rutherford County, NC, Mr. Flynn was a son of the late Fred Douglas and Bulah Vess Flynn. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are a son, Paul R. Flynn and his wife Cindy of Rock Hill; two daughters, Sandy Smith and her husband, Wayne of York and Donna Price and her husband, Walter of Fort Mill; six brothers, Troy Flynn and his wife Doris, David Flynn and his wife, Fuchsia, Harold Flynn and his wife, Willie, all of Marion, NC, Grover Flynn and his wife, Angie, of Rock Hill, Ray Flynn and his wife, of Irene, Morganton, NC, and Jesse Flynn of Montford Cove, NC; two sisters, Agnes White and her husband, Jim of Fort Mill and Linda Rowe of Marion, NC; four grandchildren, Melanie Edwards and her husband, Patrick, Stephanie McQueen and her husband, Justin, Daniel Smith and Barry Gillespie and four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his beloved dog, Lacey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Texie Frisbee Flynn and a brother, Lloyd Flynn.
