Mr. Perry Lelan Randolph, 72, of Shelby, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012.
A funeral service was held at Goode’s Grove Baptist Church in Mooresboro.
A native of Cleveland County, born to the late Willie Wilson and Carrie Mae Whitner Randolph.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stevey Randolph, by two late sisters, Ellen Ollis and Mildred Swanson; and by three late brothers, Junior, Nat, and Joe Randolph. Mr. Randolph is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Barbara Ann Baley Randolph; by sons, Larry Lelan Randolph and Steven Charles Randolph, both of Shelby. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Blair Randolph of Shelby; by grandchildren, by two great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters, Marie Sandus, Maxine Lail, Brenda Storie, and Ann Oaks. He is also survived by special friends Connie Fite of Gaffney, Mandy Langley Williams of Shelby; and by a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth McSpadden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Goode’s Grove Baptist Church Building Fund; 810 Goodes Grove Church Rd, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
