Mr. Pete Harvath, 76,  of Ellenboro, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Private services honoring Pete’s life will take place on a later date.

Mr. Harvath was preceded in death by his parents, Adam Horvath and Mary Vascovich Horvath; and 13 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by  his wife of 49 years, Mary Hauck Harvath; two sons, Edward Harvath and wife Sherry of Bloomingdale, GA; Harry Harvath and wife, Terri of Mahaffey, PA; one daughter, Margaret Harvath Mitchell and husband, David of Mooresboro, NC; one brother, Michael Harvath of Ocala, FL; one sister, Susan Korson and family of River Vale, NJ; mother-in-law, Margaret Hauck of Ellenboro, NC and brother in-law, Walter Hauck of Grampian, PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and two-step grandchildren.

Harrelson Funeral Home is serving the family.
