Mr. Richard Dean Toney, 46, Rutherfordton, died Friday, February 3, 2012.  He was the son of Don Toney of Rutherfordton and the late Louise Fisher Toney. He was a sales representative at Toney’s #2, and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Henrietta.

    In addition to his father, he is survived by two brothers, Bruce “Slash” Toney of Rutherfordton, and Victor E. Lovelace of Unions Mills; three sisters, Sandra Sexton of Marshall, AR, Christee Joyce Lovelace of Rutherfordton, and Maresa Lovelace of Lincolnton.     Memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, PO Box 368, Henrietta, NC 28076, or in Dean’s name for: Relay for Life of Rutherford County, American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Bldg 1, Asheville, NC 28801.     Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.     The website obituary is the quickest way to find out the arrangements please check for updated information on the services.
