Mr. Robert Alan Coles age 79, of Rutherfordton passed away Friday October 21, 2016.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Crowder Coles, one stepson Robert Lane, one stepdaughter Beverly Lane and one sister Lois Johnson.

A memorial service was held at Smith Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Terry White officiating.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
