Mr. Robert Junior Radford, 79, of 432 Old Hwy. 221-A, Mooresboro, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011.  A memorial service was held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at McKinney Landreth Funeral Home.

Mr. Radford was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Florence Butler Radford and one daughter, Debbie Waters; three brothers, Jack Radford, Paul Radford and Addie Radford; two sisters, Mary Helms and Eva Thrift.

He is survived by his wife Martha Dysart Radford of the home; daughters, Barbara Humphries of Mooresboro; Patsy Melton and husband Sam of Forest City; one son-in-law Doug Waters; sister, Ada Dysart and husband Wade and sister-in-law, Ilene Moorehead; one brother, Lester Radford and wife Frances of Forest City; 8 grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.

McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home, Cliffside, NC is serving the family.
