Mr. T.C. Smith age 87 went home to be with the Lord on September 24, 2013.

He was a native of Cherokee County SC and of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Clyde Smith, Sr and Vada Shehan Smith, his wife Juanita Davis Smith, and two brothers Leonard Smith and A.G. Smith.

Surviving are two sons, Wayne Smith and wife Debbie of Cliffside, Wesley Smith also of Cliffside, three daughters, Wanda Pritchard and husband Joe of Cliffside, Janet Craft of Ellenboro, and LaDonna Hart of Boiling Springs, SC; one brother Bill Smith of Shelby, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

At his request, no formal services will be held. The family will conduct a private service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County POB 336 Forest City NC 28043 or to the Rutherford County Rescue Squad 378 US Hwy 74 Business, Forest City, NC 28043.
