Mr. Tom Tessnear, 84, of Henrietta, NC passed away Monday, May 30, 2011. Services was held at Henrietta First Baptist Church. Burial followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Tessnear was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Richard Tessnear and Zora Bridges Tessnear; 6 brothers; and 1 sister.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Leona Tessnear; 1 daughter, Censythia Diane Whitaker and husband Stanley of Shelby, NC; 1 granddaughter; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother-in-law, Rickey Robbins and wife Dorlene of Henrietta; 2 sisters-in-law, Annette Robbins of Henrietta and Bonnie Tessnear of Alexander; 9 nieces and nephews.
