Mr. Tommy J. Day age 66 of Carriage Place passed away Monday January 9, 2012.
Memorial services were held at Fellowship Holiness Ch., Spindale.
A native of Rutherford County he was a son of the late Tom Hopper and Louella Day Hopper.
He is survived by his wife Maxine Lewis Day of the home, two sons – Michael Day of Rutherfordton and Timmy Day of Spindale, one daughter Amie Day of Ellenboro, four sisters – Vickie Martin, Patsy Salmon, Cindy Hopper and Donna Wilson all of Rutherford County, two brothers – Jerry Byers of NC and Danny Hopper of Rutherford County as well as a number of grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Rita Shaw.
Crowe Mortuary is serving the family.
