Mr. William Barry “Beetle” Bailey, 68, of 128 East Verdia Road, Gaffney, SC passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. Services was held at State Line Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents, William Gaston and Virginia Godfrey Bailey; 1 son, David Barry Bailey; a daughter-in-law, Gena Mabry Bailey; and 1 sister, Linda Bostic.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Collins Bailey of the home; 1 son, Dennis Ray Bailey of Gaffney, SC; 1 daughter, Denise Kay Price and husband Erick of Mayo, SC; a daughter-in-law, Sheila McGill Bailey; 1 sister, Gail Toney and husband Sydney of Forest City; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
