Mr. William Henry Leonard, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Services were held at Spindale United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Leonard was a veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines.

Mr. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents Edward Frank Leonard, Sr. and Maude Elliott Leonard; and one brother Edward F. Leonard, Jr.

He is survived by one sister Mary A. Leonard of Baltimore, MD and a number of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
