Mr. William Jennings Burgin, 82, of Spindale, NC, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010. Services were held at Crowe’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Park with Masonic Rites.

Mr. Burgin was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Nix Burgin; his parents, Charles Bernice and Ethel Davis Burgin; and 1 sister, Rosa Lee Fincannon.

He is survived by 2 sons, Russell Burgin and wife Becky of Salisbury, NC and Robert Burgin and wife Linda of Rocky Mount, NC; 1 sister, Lillian Scott of Charlotte; 2 brothers, James Burgin of Columbia and Walter Burgin of Charlotte; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
