Mr. Willie James Keeter, 74, of Jack McKinney Road, Harris, NC, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011. Services were held at Harris First Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Keeter was preceded in death by his parents, Rossell Kermit Keeter and Maggie Mae Lowery Keeter; and 2 brothers, Henry Keeter and Robert Keeter.
He is survived by 6 children; Linda Stone and husband Tommy, Rebecca Terry and Cathy Spencer and husband Robert all of Harris, Jesse Keeter of Gilkey; Nancy Velazquez and husband Julio of Hendersonville, and Jonathan Keeter of Forest City; their mother, Betty Robinson of Shelby; 2 sisters, Ruth Lovelace of Cliffside and Daisy Laughter of Caroleen; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
