Mr. Woodrow Sisk age 99 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 12, 2011.

    A native of McDowell County, Woodrow was a son of Robert and Bessie Walker Sisk.

    Left to cherish his memory is his son Woodie Sisk and wife Glenda of Forest City; one brother Max Sisk and wife Eunice of Bostic; two granddaughters Kimberly Sisk Thornburg of Shelby, Bonnie McHargue and husband Jeremy of Forest City; four great grandchildren Aaron Thornburg, Haleigh, Hannah and Jacob McHargue. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

    In addition to his parents Mr. Sisk was preceded in death by his wife Edith Rollins Sisk as well as twelve brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Main Street Baptist Church 619 East Main Street Spindale NC 28160.
