Mrs. Ada Louise McSwain, 91, of Big Island Road, Forest City, NC, passed away Thursday, November 18,  2010. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. McSwain was preceded in death by her husband, David Earl McSwain; her parents, John Petty and Annie Wyatt Petty; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce Sams of Forest City and Ann Hyder of Rutherfordton; 1 son, Don Henson of Lake Adger, NC; 5 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen, NC is serving the family.
