Mrs. Alma Marie Steppe Rhue Cooke age 92

Mrs. Alma Marie Steppe Rhue Cooke age 92 passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019.

A native of Polk County she is the daughter of the late Glover Hugh Steppe and Mary Helton Steppe. Alma was a retired beautician having worked in the Lake Lure area for a number of years.

Left to cherish her memory are a grandson, a daughter in law, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

3In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Jesse Rhue, second husband John Cooke and her son Terry Rhue, Sr.

A graveside service was held at Coopers Gap Baptist Church Cemetery, Mill Spring.
