Mrs. Betty Jean Higgins Pope, 75, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. A memorial service was held at Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Pope and her parents, Arthur and Dovey Mayse Higgins.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Wilson; six brothers, Harold Mayse, Wayne, Bobby, Ray, Charlie and Jack Higgins; one sister, Nancy Radford and a number of other relatives.
Crowe’s Mortuary of Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
