Mrs. Betty Pearson Hill, 81, of 398 Beason Road, Mooresboro, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Services were held at A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel, Cliffside, NC. Burial followed in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Mooresboro, NC.
Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, James Eula Hill; and her parents, Edger M. and Mary Ledbetter Pearson.
She is survived by 2 sons, Eddie Hill and wife Debbie of Cliffside, NC and Keith Hill of Forest City, NC; 1 daughter, Wanda Vickers and husband Ricky of Cliffside; 1 brother, Bill Pearson of Shelby; 2 sisters, Margaret Griffin of Rutherfordton, and Tina Fowler of Ellenboro; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The American Cancer Society, 200 Lake Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30319; or The Rutherford-Cleveland Kidney Association.
