Mrs. Catherine Hames Hines, 82, of Chesnee, SC, passed away Friday, July 2, 2010. Services were held at Hicks Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hines was preceded in death by her first husband of 50 years, Yelton Hames; her second husband, Otis Hines; her parents, Johnnie Roe and Sally Hodge Roe; and an infant son, Donald Hames.

She is survived by 3 sons, Junior Hames and wife Barbara of Cowpens, SC; Gerald Hames and wife Gail of Chesnee, SC, and Steve Hames and wife Joy of Spartanburg, SC; 1 daughter, Kathy Upton and husband Jimmy of Mooresboro; 1 brother, Billy Roe and wife Sara of Chesnee; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
