Mrs. Eva Elizabeth Brackett Bivens age 72 went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday January 17, 2012. Born August 25, 1939 to William Thomas Brackett and Eula Smith Brackett.
Funeral services were held at Mountain Creek Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband Vernon Bivens of the home, one daughter Tamara Koone of Gilkey, two sons – William Bivens of Rutherfordton and Brandon Bivens of Charlotte. She is also survived by three sisters Phyllis Ward of Sugar Grove, Frances Thompson of Mooresville and Cindy Taylor of Statesville, one granddaughter Sommer Bivens of Forest City as well as a number of other friends and relatives.
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Morrow, and a brother Henry Brackett.
