Mrs. Flora Womick Martin, 89, resident of Colonial Manor, Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010. Graveside Services were held in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Martin, Jr.; her parents, John Sherrill Womick and Alice Freeman Womick; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 397 Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
