Mrs. Geraldine Ann Arndt, age 71, of Forest City, passed away Sunday February 5, 2017.

Born in Bronx, NY she is a daughter of the late Gerry and Rose Zambrano Chierchio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Katherine Paduano, a grandchild, and son in law Matt Paduano. A graduate of Montclair State University.

Mrs. Arndt taught mathematics at Raritan High School in Hazlet, NJ for some 39 years having served a number of years on the student advisory council and directed numerous school plays.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Peter Arndt, one son John Arndt, one sister Sue Ann Corso, and a number of other family members and friends.

A celebration of life was held at Spindale United Methodist Church with Rev. Ross O'Neal officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
