Mrs. Geraldine “Cookie” Greene, 67, of Henrietta, NC, passed away Friday, November 19,  2010. Services were held at Temple Baptist Church. Burial followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Bobby Lee Greene; her parents, Hoyle Dee Humphries and Elizabeth Tritt Humphries; 1 sister, Norma Kay Thomas; 1 grandson, Elijah Greene; and 1 daughter-in-law, Kathy Greene.

She is survived by 1 daughter Karen Ingle and husband Randy of Forest City; 3 sons, Mark Greene and Robby Greene, both of Henrietta and adopted son, Ben Greene of the home; 1 brother, Dennis Humphries of Old Fort, NC; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Temple Baptist Church, P.O. Box 368, Henrietta, NC 28076.
