Mrs. Judith Kay (Munroe) Hood, 67, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011. A Memorial service was held at Word of Faith Fellowship. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hood was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Leon Hood and her parents, Everett and Beatrice Munroe.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Busboom Tiensvold of Rutherfordton and Robyn Bower Reed of Alliance, NE; one son, Steve Busboom of Huntsville, AL; one stepson Chuck Hood of Gilette, WY; two brothers, Duane Monroe of Grand Junction, CO and Dwight Munroe of Torrington, WY; one sister, Jeanette Munroe Johnson of Torrington, WY; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Word of Faith Holocaust Museum at 207 Old Flynn Rd., Spindale, NC 28160.
Crowe’s Mortuary of Rutherfordton, NC is serving the family.
