Mrs. Katherine Ramsey Hutchins, 87, of 1175 Oakland Rd., Forest City, NC passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010. Services were held at Crowe’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hutchins was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Hutchins; and her parents, Thomas Lee and Idella Wood Ramsey.

She is survived by1 daughter, Rita Hutchins Vess; 1 granddaughter; 3 sisters, Annie Lou Hodge of Forest City, Lois Payne and Mary Beheler, both of Mooresboro; and 1 brother, Roy Ramsey of Forest City.
