Mrs. Leona Robbins Tessnear, 82, of Henrietta, NC passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Internment was held in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Tessnear was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Tom Tessnear;  her parents, Archie Robbins and Viola Teseniar Robbins and one brother, Farrell Robbins.

She is survived by one daughter, Censythia Diane Whitaker and husband, Stanley of Shelby; one granddaughter; two great grandchildren; one brother, Rickey Robbins and wife, Dorlene of Henrietta.
