Mrs. Lois P. Doggett, 69, of Toms Lake Road, Forest City, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Park.
Mrs. Doggett was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Thomas Doggett; her parents, Carmel Pruett and Mattie Hill Pruett; 1 son, Grover Doggett; and 1 brother, Bob Pruett.
She is survived by 3 sons, Jack Doggett and wife Jan of Gaffney, SC, Paul Doggett and wife Angela of Ellenboro and Jeffrey Doggett and wife Lynn of Forest City; 2 sisters, Dorothy Bridges of Spindale and Janice Brown and husband Doyle of Rutherfordton; 4 brothers, Carl Pruett and wife Lena, and Ray Pruett, all of Rutherfordton, Charlie Pruett and wife Diane of Bostic, and Billy Pruett and wife Judy of Spindale; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and her beloved pet “Lady”.
