Mrs. Lorene Hudlow Lovelace, 85, of Forest City, NC passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011. Services were held at Smith Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lovelace was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Hudlow and Lillie Mae Smith Hudlow; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clarence Lovelace; 1 daughter, Wanda Blanton and husband Sam of Forest City; 1 son, Guy Lovelace and wife, Melanie of Norwalk, CA; 2 brothers, Andy Hudlow of Barnwell, SC and Hayden Hudlow and wife Ethel of Forest City; 2 sisters, Maxine Jolley and husband Donald of Rutherfordton and Brenda Dalton and husband Troy of Forest City; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
