Mrs. Lucy Hampton, 87 of Green Hill, NC passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Willie Hampton; her parents, Columbus Mills Doty and Lillie Norville Doty; 2 brothers, Benjamin Doty and Robert Doty; and 1 sister, Ola Doty.
She is survived by 2 sons, Robert E. Hampton and wife Kathy of Forest City, NC, and David Hampton and wife Lisa of Union, SC; 1 daughter, Barbara Conner and husband Jack of Caroleen; 1 sister, Lois Waters of Forest City; 3 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
