Mrs. Mable Sue Jolley Ruppe, 78, of 150 Cobb Road, Cliffside, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Services were held at A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel, Cliffside, NC. Burial followed in Cherokee Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Ruppe was preceded in death by her parents, Burton and Aquilla Ellen McCraw Jolley; 4 brothers, Faye Jolley, James Jolley, Bobby Jolley and Rayeford Jolley; 1 sister, Laynell Jolley; and 3 half-sisters, Flossy Huskey, Elsie Godfrey and Ezma Barnes.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Fred Ruppe; 1 son, James Howard Ruppe and wife Robin of Cliffside, NC; 1 daughter, Elizabeth Ann Sanders and husband Randy of Cliffside, NC; 1 half-sister, Vander McCraw of Forest City; 1 granddaughter; 2 step-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
