Mrs. Margaret Burgess Hodge, age 89

Mrs. Margaret Burgess Hodge, age 89 of Woodruff, SC, formerly of Rutherford County passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

Margaret is a daughter of the late Roscoe and Laura Jane Radford Burgess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings, one son Jerry Williams, and her husband Raymond Hodge.

She is survived by her son, Robert Williams (Betty) of Woodruff, SC; her daughter, Tracy Cogdell (Clete); five grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of great grandchildren and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at Crowe's Funeral Chapel, Rutherfordton. Margaret was laid to rest at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery in Forest City.

Crowe's Mortuary and Crematory is serving the family.
