Mrs. Margery L. Calton, 89, of Clayton, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. A graveside service was held at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Forest City, NC.
Mrs. Calton was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Inez Ledbetter; her husband, M. Kenneth Calton; her daughter, Elaine Venable, and her sister,
Frances Philbeck.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Wayne Calton of Clayton, NC; her brother, Max Ledbetter and wife Edna of Rutherford County; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
