Mrs. Martha Hyder Koone, 72, of 122 Sleepy Hollow Rd., Forest City, NC passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Services were held at Bethany Baptist Church. Burial followed in Southern Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Koone was preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Ruby Hyder; 1 daughter, Ronna Koone; 1 brother, Spencer Hyder; and 1 sister, Barbara Hyder.

She is survived by her husband Bill Koone; 1 daughter, Dana Koone Bright and husband Robby; and 4 grandchildren, all of Forest City, NC.
