Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Stroud Davis age 97 went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2011. Born in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of Collis and Mary Willie Wilkins Stroud. She was a member of Gold Hill Baptist Church and widow of Darius Davis.
Left to cherish her memory is one brother Louis Stroud of Washington, DC; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Crowe Mortuary Funeral Home is caring for the family.
