Mrs. Mary Etta Gallant, a native of Middlesex, MA, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011. A Memorial Service was held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Mrs. Gallant was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Joseph Gallant; and her parents, Edward and Mary Garron.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Susan Mary St. Pierre of Rutherfordton, NC, and Cheryl Stowell of Gainsville, Florida; 3 sons, Paul Gallant, Jr. of Tavares, FL, Thomas Gallant of Peabody, MA, and Stephen Gallant of Leesburg, FL; 1 sister, Eva Alongi of Scottsdale, AZ; 2 brothers, Edward Garron of Pembroke Pines, FL, and Joseph Garron of Somerville, MA; 14 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Rutherford County Senior Center, 193 Callahan-Koon Rd., Spindale, NC 28160; or to: Rutherford County Hospice, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
