Mrs. Mary Jane Silver Hutchins, 72, of McDaniel Road, Forest City, NC, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010. Services were held at Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery, Chesnee, SC.
Mrs. Hutchins was preceded in death by 3 husbands, C.M. Holland, Howard Pentz and Norris Hutchins; her parents, Jessie Edgar Silver and Mary Louise Hamrick Silver; 1 son, Richard Pentz; 2 sisters, Becky Brown and Ellen Fletcher; 4 step-children, Betty Elliott, Monroe Holland, Jimmy Holland and Ken Holland.
She is survived by 2 sons, Tony Holland and wife Barbara, and Tim Holland and wife Chris, both of Forest City; 1 sister, Christean Absher of Forest City; 2 brothers, John Silver and wife Anne of Lowesville, NC and Ray Silver and wife Frances of Mooresboro; 3 step-children, Denise Radford, Ricky Hutchins and Marion Hutchins; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Harrelson Funeral Home, Caroleen, NC is serving the family.
