Mrs. Mary Louise Barnes Sparks, 92, of Railroad Avenue, Rutherfordton, NC passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Services were held at Southern Baptist Church, Rutherfordton, NC.
Mrs. Sparks was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Bruce Sparks; her parents, Glenn and Nannie C. Barnes; 2 sisters; and 5 brothers.
She is survived by 1 son, Robert Glenn Sparks and wife Virginia of Tarboro, NC; 2 grand-daughters;; 3 great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Rutherford County Hospice, P.O. Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043; or to: Hospice of Edgecombe County.
