Mrs. Rachel Toney Jones, age 69, of Ellenboro, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Services were held at Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Coran Justice Toney and Mozelle Jolley Toney.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, J.V. Jones; her step-mother, Emma Sue Toney; one son, Kelly Jones of Ellenboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Oak Grove United Methodist Church Children’s Fund, 1507 Oak Grove Church Road, Ellenboro, NC  28040.
