Mrs. Sarah Ethel Carswell, 91, of Rutherford County, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, May 27, 2011. Services was held at Pea Ridge Baptist Church of Mill Spring. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Carswell was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Carswell; her son-in-law, Ronnie Amos; and a brother-in-law, Buren Carswell.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Amos of Rutherfordton; 1 brother, Earl Taylor and wife Mabel of Mill Spring; 1 sister, Addie Mae Carswell of Tryon; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Autumn Care of Forest City; or Pea Ridge Baptist Church of Mill Spring.
