Mrs. Sylvia Queen Freeman, 62, of 634 Old US Hwy 221, Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Monday, August 2, 2010. A Memorial Service was held at Southern Baptist Church.

Mrs. Freeman is survived by her husband, Lewis Freeman of Rutherfordton; her parents, C.P. and Sally Goode Queen of Rutherfordton; 2 daughters, Angie Biggerstaff and husband David of Rutherfordton, and Jill Hutchins and husband Johnny of Shelby; 2 step-daughters, Amy Byers of Ellenboro and Julie Wood and husband, Jeff of Weaverville; 1 sister, Martha Norton of Morganton; and 8 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Trinity Christian School, 299 Deter St., Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
