Mrs. Winona McCurry, 97, of Forest City, passed away on Tuesday, June 21. Services were held at Spencer Baptist Church in Spindale, NC. Internment was held in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mrs. McCurry was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard McCurry; her parents,  Oscar and Lillie Styers Goode; her sister Juanita and brother George Goode.

She is survived by her two daughters, Millicent Harrill of Forest City and Faye Thompson of Rutherfordton; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
