Ms. Madeline Moore Calhoun, 79, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011. Services were held at Crowe’s Chapel.
Ms. Calhoun was preceded in death by her parents, Zay Moore and Sallie Eugenia Hamrick Moore and two sons, Steven and Johnny Calhoun.
She is survived by her long-time companion Jack Wagner of Greenhill; three daughters, Kathy Gothard of Sevierville, TN; Joy Huntley of Hendersonville and Lisa Melton of Shelby; three sisters, Ina Blanton of Kings Mountain; Gladys Crew of Columbis, and Dorothy Murray of Bostic; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
