Nancy "Joan" Moore, age 74, of Forest City, passed away Friday, July 14, 2017

Born February 25, 1943 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Jack Mask and Alma Ford Mask. She worked for AFA Plastics and Campbell's Cleaning Services for several years before her retirement. Joan enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Chapel in Forest City and also enjoyed taking trips to the mountains and going to the lake, as well as, flower gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Mask and a sister, Katie Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of fifty-two years, Jimmy Moore; one daughter, Tonya Bennett (Brian) of Union Mills; three sons, David Moore (Laurie) of Forest City, Greg "Bo" Moore (Tish) of Cowpens, SC and Tracy Moore (Lorrie) of Ellenboro; two sisters, Brenda Harris (Jim) of Shelby and Carolyn Lowery (Mark) of Forest City and two brothers, Bill Mask (Peggy) of Cliffside and Jimmy Mask of Shelby. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Colby Davis officiating. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
