Nell Horton, age 86, of Forest City, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021.

Nell was born Saturday, May 19, 1934 in Rutherford County to the late Lona Mae Lowery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, A.W. Horton; brother, Bill Harris and a sister, Brenda Costner.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Alan Horton (Jodi) of Inman, SC; daughter, Crystal Giarmo (Rick) of Whiting, NJ; two grandchildren; sister, Madge Eure of Fuquay-Varina, NC and a special niece of Shelby.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
