Nell Penson Goforth, 89, of Spindale passed away Monday, October 8, 2018.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Willie B. and Elizabeth Toney Penson. She was a member of First Baptist Church Spindale and a retired beautician.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Taffy Taylor and husband Don, two grandsons; four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Goforth, brother, Bill Penson and sister Dot Ford.

Funeral services were held at Crowe's Mortuary. Interment was held in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
