Norman Lowell Wells, 91, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Yates McCoy and Verna Greene Wells. A twenty year veteran of the US Navy, he served in Korea and Vietnam.

Lowell was a member of Harmon Street Baptist Church. He retired from Duke Power.

Left to cherish is his wife, Virle Norville Wells; one daughter; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters; and a number of stepchildren and step grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Funeral services were held July 22 at Harmon Street Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Church officiating.
