Norris Dale Lane, 49, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Services were held at Cane Creek Baptist Church. Burial was held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his mother, Winnie Anderson Lane.

He is survived by his son, Jared Lane of the home; father Norris Lane of Union Mills; sister Patsy Cook of Rutherfordton and 2 grandchildren.
